I've just started taking Carolyn Resnick's "Chair Challenge" - an online course that aims to improve how I interact with my horses, with a strong focus on gentleness and mutual trust & respect.

First Step: a quiz that gauges the current relationship that I have with my horse(s). I have a loving relationship with my horses according to the quiz - so that's a positive 1st step!. (Click the image below)

The beginning of my Quest starts with creating my Legendary Self in the center of an "Alchemical Compass". In the center, I'm imagining what it would be like to live my life as a Legend...creating my own Living Legend as I go. It's very exciting to me because it opens up tremendous possibilities and new horizons.

This concept was created by Shiloh Sophia, an artist & healer who has been teaching this for more than 20 years.

Here is my completed One & Only Legendary Lorraine! My intention while creating her was to reconnect with my Inner Self & to increase the momentum towards fulfilling my life purpose.

While painting her, here is what she had to say to me: she emerges buzzing with creative excitement - drinking the nectar of transformation & dancing to the tune of the magic flute of manifestation that can direct her in ANY direction she desires, like a hummingbird on the wing. All she has to do is think of it, see herself already there, feel the emotions of being where she wants to go...and voilà! it happens, appears, manifests...dancing joyfully on the imminent horizon of the NOW.

I'm learning to teach artistic creation with a method called "Intentional Creativity ™", an approach that will be a great complement to the Equine-Facilitated learning that I use. It's taught by Shiloh Sophia, an extraordinary artist and teacher. I've begun the 9-month learning cycle by applying the approach to myself, with the creation of my "Legendary Self" painting using the Intentional Creativity process. An excerpt of the painting is below. It was a transcendental experience! generating a liberating breathless high energy that I have not felt in a very long time.
